The Church Assessment Tool (CAT) is a 86 question online assessment for our congregation. The CAT survey is secured and tabulated through the Holy Cow Consulting firm. St. Luke's will be using the generated report from the CAT survey to help in creating a parish profile, which will be the main tool we will use in posting our job description for our new rector.
Using the Congregation Assessment Tool is like taking your church to a doctor, a travel agent, and a tailor.  It gives leaders a read-out on the health of the church, a sense of where members think the church should head in the future, and a description of the church as a unique body of people.

You will be receiving an online link to the survey. (paper and pencil surveys will be available by request)

In addition to the 86 questions, your St Lukes search committee will be able to add a few specific questions related to our search for our new rector.  We ask that people set aside at least 30 minutes to take the assessment. We suggest that people take the assessment in one sitting.
Our launch of the CAT survey will be announced soon, and we will have a 3-week window when the survey is “live” and available to our members.  Your participation is so important for the search for our new rector, which will determine the future of St. Luke's.
Please feel free to contact Linda Dugins ( or talk to any committee members on Sunday…look for the purple name tags!  We will do our best to keep you informed over the next few weeks as we launch our survey!

ALSO Photos needed:

ALL CALL for photos!  St Lukes is on the hunt for photos you might have taken of our parish life over the past few years.  Our search committee will be using these photos as part of our recruitment tool for our new rector.  Bob Lux has graciously agreed to be the "gatherer of the photos!"  If you have some photos you would like to share, please email them to Bob.  It would be helpful if you are able to add a date, location, or event name to the photos when you email them.
