Mountain Reginal Water Company has changed water rates to reflect the decreasing water in our state. In addition, the rates have been raised considerably to discourage wasteful water use.

St. Luke's always has and will continue to follow the guidelines. That means only two water days per week.
Last year there were a couple of leaks. This created huge bills. One of the leaks was the spigot at the front of the church. Someone finally told me it had been leaking for over a month! That particular bill ended up costing us almost $1,900. With the new rates, that bill would have been $3,400.

PLEASE IMMEDIATELY LET BECKIE, PETER, OR A VESTRY PERSON KNOW OF ANY LEAKS YOU SEE. REGARDLESS OF HOW SMALL OR LARGE.

At our last Vestry meeting, a member told me he was in the church on a Wednesday and found the faucet in the men's restroom running. It had simply been left on. I'm afraid to see what that bill is going to look like.
